The stained glass window to the left separates the chancel area from the day

chapel using predominately swirled colorless glass that allow maximum light to illuminate the altar.

The crucifix is created by using real mahogany wood for the actual cross.  This has been glazed right

into the stained glass window creating a dynamic effect of solid wood around the stained glass figure of the

Crucified Savior.  The blood flows down down and changes into wine as it enters the chalice that is directly above the

tabernacle.  The stained glass wall has an opening in it allowing the tabernacle to sit between the chancel

and day chapel altars and is accessible from both sides.

 

Surrounding the crucifix are two Eucharistic angels above, and flanking below are the

transfiguration figures of Moses and Elias.
